Of course, I’m all about non invasive spy wear! If you get one, just remember to temper your expectations! It will get there….eventually <3

Hopefully you will have fun! It isn’t too much trouble to set up, and it has some pretty cool apps!
I don’t necessarily think it’s too late. There will be a niche that someone/some entity will settle into for us privacy minded folk. Hopefully that niche gets beefy processors and extra ram fr fr
So Pine 64 has a PineTime watch that is pretty nifty if people want sans spying techwear. Very basic and very alpha/beta mode…but it gets better every so often! More people use it or know about it, the more development it gets!
Karl Marx isn’t really random, he is the godfather of communism. Now I am not a full blown communist by any means but Karl Marx was a really smart dude who correctly saw and anticipated the negative effects of capitalism. It’s ok to disagree, I respect that completely but I’d ask we keep it civil.
I get what your saying completely. I don’t disagree per se actually (my brain tells me we just have lived in a crazy time for the past couple hundred years, guns are super prolific.). I would love if the police disarmed as well.
I appreciate the information! I’ll check my labels!
Normally I would just let it slide, but I’m bored so why not have some discourse :)

I do not own fire arms personally due to mental health issues. I do carry pepper spray and have a taser readily available. Worst case scenario a bow I use for hunting.
-
There are legitimate uses for fire arms full stop. Protection against bodily threats, hunting, tyrannical government, etc.
-
I support universal background checks and “common sense gun regulation”. It is a dangerous tool, but it is still just a tool. I’d love to see mandatory fire arm safety training before attempting to buy a gun.

Workers rights are bogged down because of hierarchical systems designed towards uplifting the few and the expense of the many.
Why should the government have exclusive use of violence? In any case, the eventual goal (for me personally and people like me) is peace and liberty. Until that happens the working class must have access to fire arms. The people who should not own guns are those with mental health issues, and access should be limited to trained/responsible individuals.
“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary” —-Karl Marx
I feel like this is ripe for abuse. I’m sure insurance companies purchase this data to screw their customers in some wicked way
A lot of it has to do with Texas having the Gulf of Mexico ports all along the coast. It’s a big reason petrochemical refining is so big in Texas. Another plus for Texas is it’s abundance of land they can either buy or imminent domain. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not a Texas supporter, but it’s just one of those location based decisions I’m sure.
Not to mention if your a business in Texas you usually only get slaps on the wrist when you poison the environment. Worker safety? Mostly dependent on company policy with the main focus just barely making OSHA compliance. If the fine is cheaper than compliance, a lot of companies just pay the fine if it happens.
Umm, correct me if this seems like a bad take…but is there a need for a new console generation considering the overlap of the xbone/ps4 with this gen? Only the Nintendo Switch is in dire need of a hardware upgrade, especially with handheld gaming computers like Steam Deck offering much needed competition.
