Pretty much, because the organisers of this event won't follow their own rules and does anything and everything to keep the genociders participating.

To reiterate, the turmoil is not directly because of the genocide, but it's because EBU (the organisers) refuse to allow its members to even vote on whether Israel (who have constantly been breaking the rules in recent years) are allowed to participate, despite EBU's own rules clearly stating that such votings should be conducted.

The double standard is unbelievably biased and has permanently destroyed the contest's reputation.

Not necessarily bad, but it is quite rare. It only occurs when something doesn't work properly.

I think there are many people (me included) who have no clue what that icon means.

Right, OP edited the post to now include "over 30 years" which makes more sense. I originally thought it was per year, in which case the amount seemed off.

Surely you meant $19.4 million, not billion?

Because it's not kilowatt per hour (kW/h), it's kilowatt hours (kWh). It would be fine to say GW years, but then the question would be over how long? Most likely one year, which gives us GWy/y = GW.

It was definitely intentional, but also it looks like only one punch. The video just shows it from 2 angles.

Still enough to hopefully get the pig suspended and fined.

Because military threat is more imminent. From a logical POV it's absurd, but sadly most world leaders don't use their brains or they can't fathom how a slow change can be slowly killing us.

"Pedestrian was killed after a shoe crash when he ran into a car"

That's what this article sounds like...

They still don't want to allow same-sex marriages though, although individual priests are allowed to go against the guidelines.

Yeah, this 200 kg of cocaine is probably one of the largest busts ever!
