You mentioned you are looking in the sub-1000 USD range. I bought a Christopher Ward Trident 300 in green, and that looks great - they have a few other green options. It's also worth taking a look at some of Farer's offerings in green, especially their field watch and the new Tonneau.

Christopher Ward make dive watches in 38mm. There's bound to be something that would suit you there. You could also look at the Baltic Aquascaphe which is available in a few 39mm varieties - you might be able to pull that off.

Excellent choices. You have a bit of everything there. I'm a bit of an Omega fanboy, but my favourite or if you're collection is that Zenith. It's just mmmmmm....
