Exactly why I showed up to the comments. Have a great day everyone.

True, but in my experience that’s on a separate console in the back seat.

Technically it’s from a movie I suppose.

From Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights in the Sky are Stars

“We evolve, beyond the person we were a minute before. Little by little. We advance a bit further with each turn.”

What film is this?

I’d argue split climate for the driver and passenger seat is the only important missing innovation.

Truthfully it’s my wife who really likes to watch TV. I mostly prefer reading or gaming haha.

You can’t prove anything!

I can’t stand most television anymore. Especially now that most streaming services have brought back ads.

I have now started my journey of curating an RSS feed. Any suggestions? I have a few basic ones like XKCD, picture of the day, a photo throwback from my reader (feeeed) and a bunch of YouTube channels and a few subreddits that I never really stopped visiting.

Reminder that by RAW in 5e (2014 at least) skill checks are a standard action.

This is handwaved 90% of the time (except for Maze in my experience) but still.

Eating dirt could be an object interaction, which I recall is similar to sheathing or unsheathing a weapon and you get one of those free per round.

The Everything Everywhere All at Once sequel got weird.

I should really mess around with RSS. It seems like a nice tool from what people describe.

I like it a lot. I’m a little worried I’ll drop it during the slog before Sanderson picks it up for the ending.

So far I’m really invested into everyone’s journey. Maybe it’s the way Jordan writes the Aes Sedai, but I find myself annoyed with Nynaeve at the moment.

I’ve had issues with spoiler tags on here, but I’m going to try them again.

Tap for spoilerNynaeve seems to be trying to stay mad so she can channel at any moment - and while understandable it’s really frustrating when she lashes out at EVERYONE.

Maybe it’s the retro-futuristic style or reminiscent of sci-fi and cyperpunk, but I genuinely really like the design.

I would never buy one due to the MYRIAD issues plaguing the stainless steel body, interior build quality, or give Tesla money. But still a cool looking car, if nonfunctional truck.

A couple months ago I found an anthology of the Wheel of Time.

I had watched the first 3 or so episodes of the Amazon adaptation and wasn’t super invested into the characters, but wanted to give the book series a shot.

Basically I’ve read about 7 chapters of New Spring and was wondering why literally none of this was brought up in the Amazon series until I realized that adaptation started with Eye of the World. Should I just skip New Spring and come back later? Does this even add to the new reading experience outside of a glance at Tar Vallon and the hierarchy of the Aes Sedai?

I don’t hate this book - but I already know Lan becomes Moirane’s Warder and that she meets/finds the Dragon Reborn.

Edit: I’m reading Chapter 1 of Eye of the World now. Thanks!
