Foie gras makes me sad. It’s usually cruel, produced by force-feeding animals. There are ways to make it humanely but they are rarely carried out.

But damn is it good. I don’t eat it anymore, but I have had it a couple of times and loved it.

There are people that unironically believe this.

I think you misspelled, “there are people who are terrified that they might not be straight and thus obsess over what might make someone gay.”

I remember, in my younger, conservative years, becoming terrified about how I didn’t like lesbian porn as much as stereotypical guys. I was worried I might be gay since I preferred porn with a guy in it.

So in college, being open-minded and experimental (probably why I’m now far from my conservative roots), one day I tried to jerk off to gay porn.

I learned then 1: there’s nothing scary about gay porn, and 2: gay porn isn’t a turn-on for me.

Oh and 3: a culture that makes someone worried about their sexuality because they like straight porn is really fucked up and needs to chill.

That’s me. Sort of. Don’t get me wrong, my wife is rapidly running out of room in her office for all the cute animals I have printed for her (that she didn’t ask for, I just surprise her with them sometimes 😅).

But I’ve rapidly reached the stage where I want to print but have covered most of my own needs for printed stuff. So any time anyone asks if I can print something, I’m thrilled.

the CAN-SPAM act

I once wrote a community college paper for my friend in exchange for some work on my car. He had to write a paper on the CAN-SPAM act.

I did the assignment, covered all the requirements, explained it and whatnot. I then wrote a SECOND paper, appended to the end of the first. This second paper also met the length requirements, but was a parody. About the Hormel meat product, Spam. In cans. Can-Spam. I was very proud of it. It was funny.

I kept asking my friend if he ever got feedback from the professor. He never did. It was then that I learned professors often don’t read papers like this, they just assign them to get students to read and practice writing. It made me sad.

The real reason for PIN login is so you can login quickly with just the numpad, even if you have to edit the registry on your work laptop to enable it. /cough

What about the Atom Brick set? (3/4-Lego-scale bricks).

The Fast and the Furious series.

So dumb. So macho. So entertaining.

You don’t need Lego-level tolerances to at least function with Lego. Look at MegaConstrux (formerly MegaBloks). They’re garbage on tolerances, but they mostly work fine.

I’ve successfully printed 3/4 scale Lego-style bricks to work with a 3/4 scale brick set I have, and using a 0.2mm nozzle they came out great. I can only assume that at full scale they would work just as well.

And deli style American cheeses, with lower milk content and thus a firmer, more cheese-like consistency, make the perfect cheese for a good burger. Melty but not stringy.

Yes. A check against Federal power because state militias would be the military might. A “palladium of liberty” for those who believed centralized power was dangerous to liberty.

Ask Shay’s Rebellion and the Whiskey Rebellion about whether the government would cede power when confronted by armed citizens (as opposed to state militias).

Right, those were talking about the ability of the states to be a check on federal power. Because military power would be in the hands of state militias.
