Biggest understatement of the year:

Many families have accused the Israeli government of abandoning their loved ones by failing to negotiate their release.

Not just families of hostages, it is a objective fact that the Israeli government has abandoned the hostages in favor of the project of eradication of Palestinians from Gaza.

The Israeli lobby is inclusive of the Christian Dominionists who are antisemitic and zionists, I don't think that this is called out enough. The Democratic Majority for Israel and AIPAC are funded by some of the same donors who give/bundle for Republicans and are Conservative Christians. Shontel Brown was backed by Democratic Majority for Israel, most of her precincts she won were white majority precincts outside of Cleveland, all the while portrayed as if she was representing the black and Latino community, and Nina Turner was alluded to as being antisemitic and supported primarily by white Bernie Bros.

Objective reality doesn't matter much to propagandists.

Taxis in NYC have medallions, that are significantly more than $100k, and that makes the scarcity of taxis just enough that they are in demand but rarely unused.

NYC is a smaller geographic city (municipal boundaries - 5 boros) and has 2 million more residents. Try implementing this there for a tenth of the price and see if there's riots at worst, and every elected official losing their next election at best.

But now they are empty leisure suits with sansabelt pants and an onion tied to their extraneous belt, which was the style at the time back in their day
