Lavine is a really good player and an excellent scorer. Gutting your depth for him doesn't make your team better. Both can be true

Raptors could make the finals. A lot of elite defensive pieces moving into their prime. Their size, length and athleticism means they can beat any team. East is fairly weak as well. Might only have to beat 1 of Boston or Milwaukee
