Who keeps giving this guy movies to do?

I love Greg Bear's take in the War Dogs trilogy.

They show up but slowly introduce themselves, give us trinkets, coerce & exploit us , then after much happenings, leave and the world goes on like nothing ever happened.

I mean, I get why the change the story because maybe a bunch of kids speed walking for 90 minutes isn't the greatest movie....but whyyyyyy don't they make a movie without hanging their hat on the source material that isn't somewhat close to what they're making?

Like, serious question: did anyone ever have to pay for it? I just remember having it, I thought it was a demo game for the Unreal engine and was free to play/came pre installed on other games.

The fact that there are already protests, which will get louder and more brutal (the brutality will be on the side of the state) says they will not quietly go along with it, and I wish them luck.

So what you're saying is similar: because the courts bent the laws to favor the regime, then in essence what they did was 'legal'.

Camps are coming, we've already set that precedent in recent times with the 'japanese internment camps'...I grew up near the site of one of the largest camp in the west, that is now the Western Washington fairgrounds.... nothing to see here, folks!

I do appreciate the history lesson though, it's more insightful & nuanced that the pop history I learned.

Everything that Trump and the GOP will do will be legal.

This is what happens when your liberal political party is the party of complicity, allowing the right to pull the judiciary, congress and the exec. Branches so far right there is no way to legally fix it.
