https://longreads.com/2017/04/12/the-elements-of-bureaucratic-style/

In short:

“Our agents were left with no choice but to call Chicago Aviation Security Officers to assist in removing the customer from the flight. He repeatedly declined to leave.” The phrase, “left with no choice” is calculated and deliberate, and every rhetorical move of the preceding paragraphs is leading up to this moment. The bureaucratic state never acts of its own volition; it is always reactionary, and it always acts because the victim leaves it no choice.

bagpipes are the loudest thing I've ever experienced, those things are a silent killer

Scanning something and putting it in a bag, rather than onto the platform next to the scanner, is not theft as far as I know. The machines are set up to nag you after 0.5 seconds of not placing an item on the scale. As a young person this is annoying, but for someone who actually needs to move more slowly it has to be infuriating

We have those by me still, I love them. Except when they check the weight of every item so you can't have one person scan and another bagging.

I don't see how this is different. Your cut would be a unique product. Marvel will still be making their millions off of the movie. Also these days the majority of the budget goes to actors who continue to get obscenely rich while the VFX artists get laid off, I wouldn't even support the big movie studios

Really strange take. If you buy lemons from a farmer are they entitled to the profit you may make from lemonade? Or to shut down your shoppe?

I'm very surprised that Reddit didn't immediately bend the knee. If they succeed in going public this policy will not continue

Also nobody was seriously injured on the flight where the door fell off. The vehicle as a whole must be very well built
