Alastair Reynolds don’t necessarily buy everything but if I saw something that I haven’t read from him it’s an automatic « stop everything and find a way to read it as quickly as possible »

Not a glamourous one but at 14 my dad said to me « open a 401k » (or equivalent in your country). I laugh at him thinking I was better. Now I’m old and poundering why I didn’t listen to him.

Don’t put all your saving in it maybe a couple of buck a little bit at a time but when you’ll be my age you’ll have a tidy some hopefully to reduce some financial stress

Have fun too, don’t forget that one

Where I am the promoter didn’t disclose that he was there, after announcing it people saw what happen and started protesting. It’s with all the actual cluster fuck that the city decided to move

I excluded Into the Spiderverse too

A little bit of troll and a little bit of truth.

I do really feel that every MCU movies is a bad movie and I’m aware that saying it out loud sound like trolling

High praise don’t means good.

But I’ve said my piece and I’ve seen most of the counter arguments already, none made me change my mind.

MCU was a mistake

I’ve watch a lot of them not because I wanted to, when I’ve said that most Marvel movies are utter shit people get angry and typically coerce me in some way to see them, like : you didn’t see it your opinions are not of value blah blah blah.

The first Ant Man had potential but they fired the director exactly because it had potential.

The first Daredevil series was ok maybe a little bit more but it start going down the hill shortly after.

Each Marvel are build the same fucking way and doubly so after GotG which make them not unique at all. They’re always the same thing movie after movie after movie. Easy movie making for the most money

At least the first Iron Man was new (Black Panther had really cool design and prop makers)

Nolan’s Batman was a great work because it was not the same 3 movies, that’s not that hard but that’s not what Marvel/Disney want to do and what they are doing is bleeding their franchise dry.

I love Comic but Disney is killing it

I disagree, after Iron Man nothing good get out of the MCU

I’m searching this (and going mad) because I’ve followed most of the link in the megathread and I can’t found it. If someone have an idea let me know

Broflix don’t seems to have it BTDigg come up with nothing

First : didn’t find a comic instance so here it is Second : Warren Ellis is a sex pest, so don’t buy his comics

Ministry of Space is a cool twist on the « what if X was first on the moon/space and not the American ». In this case : Britain

Edit : also any good comic suggestions is welcome

So I just finished Island in the Net and I’m not sure that I got the propos

I feel that there’s something behind the book, something I cannot put my finger on.

Is it a tale against globalization? Is Rizome was the bad guy all along? Am I not old enough to understand a 88 book ?

(Yes, prepare to be assimilated)

Nichole Cohen for those of you that know her

Not as in Language but as in author

I’m in a run of reading oldish 80s cyberpunk stories. The Neuromancer (Sprawl) Series, Schismatrix+ and Island in the Net, (I’ve read a long time ago) the Budayeen Cycle.

And I was wondering if non-European/american/canadian author have written cool cyberpunk stories
