Hi,

Could you advise an affordable, light colored explorer like GADA watch from those listed below, please?

The important decisive factor is overall quality and price-value ratio. However I am located in Europe a huge VAT is added resulting increased total price.

Thanks.

-Christopher Ward Dune: 38 mm, Sellita movement, super finishing, $830

-Traska Summiteer: 36 mm, Miyota 9 series movement, 100m wr, scratch resistant coating, on steel by default, $760

-Baltic Hermetique: 37 mm, Miyota 9 series movement, 150m wr, nice style, $740

-Vaer A3 atlas: 36 mm, Miyota 9 series movement, 100m wr, $590

Hi,

I am wondering nowadays about microbrands and what quality they bear at an affordable price. I have had several pieces among micros and found the quality quite good but can't remember every watches I've had in details so cannot compare to them from memory.

Do you think there's a difference in quality between say $400-$800, or is it just a matter of aesthetics, since the tech specs generally seem pretty close?

I've set my mind to Baltic and Lorier recently while Traska and Tsao Baltimore have been in my mind for a while. Having Smithses (and Seiko mods made of better modshop's parts), mainly I'd see comparison between those but any comparison or even ranking would be welcome here.

Thank you.

Great piece. I'm also eyeing with Bicompax but quite long lugs makes me worried if would good look on my slender wrist. May I ask you your wrist circumference, sir?

Smiths Everest < GS Sbgx261 < Tudor BB36 < Rolex Explorer 1

Hey all,

Usual "which one should I get" type question on a usual Saturday night.

I am eying with some model in very different price range and try to find the one that gives the most in quality, technical avantage, comfort, style for a certain price.

I've got a slender 16 cm wrist hence the 36-37 mm case range where I'd like to get to a versatile piece that will most probably be worn the most in the collection.

I'd pick only one regardless the price... Maybe I can get the two cheapest together.

Thank you.
