Why is this info even public? That's the real issue.
It's like that guy that posted an example Bitcoin miner on GitHub, then a bunch of script kiddies forgot to change his wallet info for their own before deploying... He made a good chunk of change by doing nothing malicious.
It's the same as hosting your own email server. Yes it's "best practice" to host your own, but there's updates, bug workarounds, certificates, etc etc that makes it easier to use someone else's server. In the end it's a personal choice.
Yep, most games run fine. But I do still have to check if the anti-cheat supports Linux.
Always make a new account for every website, never sign in via your Google account, Microsoft account, etc. It was a neat feature when it came out, but it's just too much of a risk.
