I have a 1952 Omega Geneva, it’s solid gold with interchangeable bands. I have a black, brown, and green band it has a champagne colored dial I inherited it from my grandfather. It has a tool that came with it to change the bands with. All the bands I have look brand new. I only wear it on special occasions. It stays safe in the safe unless I have something special to do.

You don’t hear the orient ticking because it’s an automatic and they sweep the tick is from quartz movement.
After of almost 40 years of collecting I have 117 that are in running good condition. I inherited a ton of watches from my grandfather and have been slowly fixing them as I get to them. No local watchmakers so I have had to learn how to do it myself. I have been a mechanic for 30 years so fixing watches comes naturally but the parts are way smaller than what I’m use to.
