I usually use HanBrake, MakeMKV, or DVDFab to copy bluray disc.

Handbrake, VLC, Makemkv, DVDFab, Winx... these tools are good to rip dvd.

Most people use lossless audio codecs such as FLAC or ALAC. Other people still might use lossy codecs like MP3 or AAC/ You can choose a codec whlie ripping music from CD depending on your needs for quality versus file size.

Maybe you can try DVDFab DVD Copy, which may recognize your corrupted DVDs and make a backup copy of it. This tool is good at decrypting and coping old DVD.
