The nazi call is coming from inside the House!

They are not very accurate. You're more likely to get yelled at by a NCO(non commissioned officer) than by an officer on a day to day basis. Most officers are like middle managers until you hit the O-5 to O-6 rank. Officers give out orders, NCOs carryout orders using junior enlisted personnel. Most harassment stops outside of basic/advanced training, unless someone in your unit gets in trouble and then they might do a mass punishment where everyone is cleaning the barracks on a Friday night or over the weekend. I'm white, so I can't speak much to the discrimination part, other than it didn't happen much in the jobs that I was in. I'm positive it happens, but it didn't happen out in the open when I was in. Obviously the current administration for the US government is changing that a bit. I can't speak for the person you asked the question to, but I had two combat deployments and two trips to South Korea, with a solid bit of PTSD from the deployments.

Words have lost all meaning. Brutal to point out character flaws that everyone already knows about and epic that they talk it about openly. SLAMMED!

But that just tells me he's not the first, only, or likely last person to solicit something he isn't qualified for from this committee. Not exactly epic if they are just stating the obvious out loud.

"epic snub" seems a little exaggerated for something that fat orange fascist was never qualified for in the first place.

Well, anything digital comes to mind. Cutting undersea communication cables is another. But you can generally look in the direction of Russia for most of it. In the US they have corrupted an entire political party with out drawing any "front lines"

Russian interference

Those are real 20th century metrics for a war.

I'll edit to add this article about someone in the Whitehouse thinking we're in a civil war

The graph shows deaths. I'm sure there are quite a few more collisions that don't end in death, but possibly severe and lasting disabilities. You don't see a lot of subway cars colliding with other subway cars. I'm sure plenty of people run into buses though.

I live in central Florida and I've been out protesting quite a bit, a couple political events for democratic candidates, and volunteer for poll duty during elections. One of the least represented demographic in all of these places is young women. There are plenty of retiree women. I've even been to a couple women's rights group meetings and there were more men there than women under 40.

I understand it's going to take all of us to make any meaningful changes, but I am constantly surprised that one of the most impacted groups doesn't seem to be too concerned to participate in the civil unrest part. Even the women I talk to in other social settings don't seem too concerned or feel the need to do anything to halt the real life Handmaid's Tale we're about to find ourselves in.

It feels like a very aggressive title for this post.

You'd think if they cared about these credible allegations, they would care about some of their candidates credible allegations.

I purchased the year ad free sync pro for $16.99 the day it launched. I wanted to support what seemed to be a great app for a new platform even though that was an excessively steep price.

At this point I wish I hadn't wasted my money.

After the last app update every time I opened the app it would crash. I attempted to clear the cache, clear the data, then reinstall the app. It would crash every time I tried to restore my backup. I reached out to the developer first and told them my issue. They initially replied back and said they would look into it and I provided extra information. Went several days with no update and I attempted to contact them again and got no response. I then asked for a refund because it doesn't recognize that I purchased the Pro upgrade. Again no reply. I then tried to get a refund through Google and also no luck and that I should contact the developer.

I will never again purchase sync pro for lemmy or any other platform and I would caution anyone else from spending an arm and a leg for this app when there are plenty of equally good alternatives.

This bill is DOA according to the Senate.

"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has warned that the “stunningly unserious” bill has no chances in the Senate."
