Yes exactly. It was a hard lesson to learn I guess, I'm sorry for you.

To be honest, in some cases, it's not even that people are dishonest. It happened a lot that they simply forget, bc things weren't put on paper.

So please, document everything and indeed require every client to sign a contract

This comment is correct. Every 6 month, there is a new (food) delivery company getting started, because people don't understand how difficult the economics are. Best way to burn cash quickly, trust me.

Also, you're competing with the giants of big tech who have the means and cred to hire the best brains out of Silicon Valley, and have done it for the last ten years.

Not here to shoot down the intention, but there is this false conception that food delivery is "easy"
