My wife normally mutes them, but I generally don't care enough to pick up the remote and push the mute button. I just tune them out and use it as a chance to grab a snack or go to the bathroom, or just check stuff on my phone.

The game was in a pretty rough state when they relaunched it, but they have been slowly improving it a bit at a time (it often feels like 2 steps forward, 1 step back). I feel like the game is in a pretty good spot though. I enjoy it and am looking forward to season 4.

Well, one that maybe went full circle for me is "bring the pain" by mindless self indulgence. At first, it just seemed like a really fun song that I loved. Then one day, a black dude was in my car listening with me, and he was like "wtf is this song about?". That's when it hit me that the song actually sounds REALLY racist. I looked up the lyrics and that just confirmed it for me. And then years later, I found out it was actually a cover of a method man song, and not really racist at all, I guess. But thats a weird one, maybe best not for white guys to be singing it...

A lot of times when translating articles, and going for click bait headlines, things get mangled. I was searching for where Sakurai may have said he was not making another smash game, and I can't find anything like that. On the contrary, I am seeing articles saying things like he can't see another smash game happening without his involvement: https://www.si.com/esports/fgc/new-super-smash-bros-game-sakurai

But regardless, it's easy to get burned out on something and feel like you never want to touch it again. Then a few years later your feelings on the matter change. It's happened to me. Doesn't mean someone "is full of shit".

I'm more surprised that this game is still running. I haven't heard of anyone playing it in years.

No clue. While I don't drink coffee, I did drink caffeinated sodas for a large part of my life. One day I just decided to stop drinking soda. I felt no sort of addiction or withdrawal symptom.

There are a few communities on there which I still check, but I spend a significantly less amount of time on Reddit than I used to. I also refuse to post anything or interact on that site anymore.

I use these sites to see what races are on my local ballot and to get an idea about who is running. If you need more info, you might search on some of your local news stations or newspaper websites.

For the major races, like President or Congress, hopefully you have already decided by now.

Dang, they had to rent the whole VCR in Calvin's household?

Oh my God, I HATE it when they use the dub script for the subtitles on anime. It's fine if they want to offer it as a separate subtitle stream as closed captions for the hearing impaired, but when I'm watching something in the original language I expect the subtitles to be faithful to what they are actually saying, and I want the timing to actually match. It's incredibly frustrating when the lines don't actually match up with the sound of the dialogue, and then you realize it's a "dubtitle" script.

Honest question here. I'm not familiar with the game, but you seem to be upset that it offers cosmetic items for sale. One of your proposed solutions is to bundle all of the cosmetic items together and sell it as a DLC. What is the actual difference in those two options? Why does one of them seem acceptable to you while the other does not? They sound like the exact same thing to me.

What does natron offer that you would use it over fusion (in davinci resolve)?

Me and my wife are in our 40s, and currently in good health. I get insurance through work, but it's a high deductible plan. I have enough in my health savings account to cover the out of pocket maximum for a few years.

Cancer does run in my family, so I was considering a cancer policy. My grandmother has one with Aflac, and she received a good payout when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have seen that she also only has to pay a few hundred dollars per year for her policy, which seems pretty reasonable.

However, I never really hear these policies discussed much online. Can it make financial sense to purchase? (And I guess I would keep paying it for the rest of my life) Or are these something that should be stayed away from?

When using Connect, I don't see all of the comments. I was just looking at a post where the counter showed over 40 comments, but I counted them and only saw about 16. Then I opened up the same post in my web browser and I was able to see all of the comments there.
