I don't in understand how these people really think they are the only ones capable of violence.
What do they think "the opposing side" will do... lie flat and wait for a bullet to the head?
Well, scientifically speaking, we are living in one of the best timelines possible because there is developed life to ask this question to begin with. It's all about perspective.

Yes. I'm not the only one! Maps drives me crazy. As pedestrian it's borderline unusable especially in European old Cities where there are .... actual pedestrian only pathways.

Can the API be hacked to flood their servers with petabytes of cat pictures?
What is happening with the data? Where are the data savers?
I doubt the insurance for this would be feasible cost wise. It's easier to blame the victims. Police is never accountable for their actions. It's a perk of this job.
