Do y'all want Minority Report? Because this is how you get Minority Report

I would wager the lazy fuckers used AI to sanitize it. And we know just how accurate and effective that must be /s

We went from the house needs this new rep sworn in so we have enough votes, to near unanimous. Along with Trump's about face I have to assume the edits are complete

That's like arguing the guy who beats his wife isn't so bad because he used to cut on her too, but stopped. It should be 10% max for a store. And publishers all take too big a cut as well

I'd rather see the developers of the game profit before the storefront

I hate the phrasing of this title. It makes it sound like it's already happened. It should be Will Perplexity be the first AI unicorn to fail?.

30% is too much! Clearly Steam doesn't need that much to operate (the percentage of each sale that go to Valve)

Having a Linux machine, with decent hardware as a common target for developers will have huge implications for gaming in Linux. The SteamDeck has already inspired more devs to make native Linux versions of their games, rather than relying on Proton. This should expand the appeal for devs even more so

He's planning to go to war, duh. As soon as they're done consolidating power within the US, he's going to start invading other countries. It's so blatantly obvious

This should have been a documentation page!

There are a number of tribes that actually prefer to be called American Indians rather than Native Americans.

Is there still no way to have your feeds filtered to not show any posts with a score below a certain threshold? This is particularly of interest for posts with negative scores. This was a basic feature on Reddit, and it's something I can't believe Lemmy is still lacking. So maybe I've missed it somehow?

This would make community moderation much better as low quality content could be easily hidden from user's feeds without need of intervention from a mod. When I see a post with a negative 50 score it boggles my mind why my time was wasted in seeing it at all.

I've looked all through the settings in the web UI and in Voyager and have not found a way to enable this. Any ideas? Do maybe other apps have that ability?

Anyone else having trouble logging back in after Lemmy.world's last server update? It just spins forever after I click Sign In, doesn't even give me an error.
