That just shows which of these two roles hold a higher regard in US judicial system.

And he's getting rich off of it too. I mean, that's his whole gain, right? Money! He's given his soul for money. The whole community hates him, but at least he's gotten rich now. I'm sure reddit's annual founders parties must be a hoot.

That is a very pessimistic and causal explanation, but you've got the push right. It's marketing that pushes I though, not necessarily tech. AI, as we currently see it in use, is a very neat technological development. Even more so it is a scientific development, because it isn't just some software, it is a intricate mathematical model. It is such a complex model, that we actually have study it how it even works, because we don't now the finer details.

It is not a replacement for office workers, it is not the robot revolution and it is not godlike. It is just a mathematical model on a previously unimaginable scale.

I am so sorry. Here in the Netherlands it's not super great, but I'm ashamed if I'd complain now. A one way trip takes me an hour by car, by train it takes only half an hour extra. The train on my line usually gets more than half an hour delay only once every two months or so. The car gets half an hour delay twice per day. Train delays mean I get to read more books. Car delays mean I get to stare at more brake lights and build up more anger and stress.

We are Lemmy, resistance is futile.

That might very well be true, maybe I've grown complacent since setting up my arr suite a couple years back. Tonight I'll try manually searching for the older files that have been gathering cobwebs in my search que and see if that helps.

My college has a teacher's room. I'm very proud that I get to visit that room regularly now. (I became a teacher at the college I studied at)

I do notice the quality of p2p was diminished over the past decade, probably less people are keeping their share ratio up. But that has been getting better lately. Though it is true that it's virtually impossible to get older movies through p2p, but that has always been more or less the case.
