Trisquel is a fully 'Free as in freedom' distro.

Zero telemetry now or in the future.

Ubuntu based, so large FLOSS package repository.

Mate UI, simple user friendly layout.

* You will need hardware that works with fully free hardware drivers (for printer, WiFi, GPU etc). Drivers with binary-blobs are not included, due to potential security risks or spyware.

Test your hardware with a bootable USB.

RMaps previously provided free satellite imagery, and any geo-location could be shared from OSMand to RMaps, to quickly show a satellite overview. (Tiles from ARCGIS IIRC)

What is the current state of satellite imagery in fdroid?

How can an OSMand location be quickly opened as a satellite view?

Edit: Extra info is, I'm looking for an offline satellite image solution. Full pre-loading of a specific areas, before travel.

With RMaps, it was possible to pre-load the tiles for the remote-location needed at various zoom-levels, before travelling a few 100kms from cell-towers, and then still being able to access an offline-satellite-view of those locations when there.
