I disagree with the disagreement; there’s a rich history of Presidents attempting to do legally unsound things. Usually it’s up to their advisors, who have traditionally been experts in their areas of executive governance, to steer the President correctly.

Trump has changed things by appointing sycophants as his advisors instead of experts. So the office is essentially a formalization of what most Presidents did as the obvious course of action.

Wait… your wife is ditching Kupier, which doesn’t exist yet, because of a single stunt Bezos pulled, but Starlink, run by the guy funding Trump’s election campaign, is still in the running?

Isn’t Musk an illegal immigrant? Or at least was when he first immigrated?

He could have kept them as personal souvenirs for what may go down as a pretty historical event.

Or he could plan to plant them somewhere as evidence of tampering.

“The votes on them are statistically meaningless” is incorrect though; I just went through an election where the two sides in one district differed by 27 votes.

I have been. It tends to get downvoted by both extremes on Lemmy.

Here’s an idea: why not just ignore the extremes, and to make a “fair and balanced” panel, put the Democrats in as the moderate conservatives and the socialists, greens AND libertarians in as the balancing agents?

It doesn’t have to be extreme socialists, libertarians and greens either; there’s plenty who lean those directions who are moderate, and that’s a message that’s been totally ignored in the US since the McCarthy era.

Let the viewers see what different but less extreme viewpoints look like.

It’s worth noting that a sizeable number of Tor exit nodes are actually run by the German government. Meaning: they know exactly what’s going through those nodes.

So all they need to do to unmask a Tor source IP is control the first hop too. They’re in a position where they can narrow searches down to activity they’re actually interested in without significantly decreasing the privacy of other Tor users, and then they can peel back the onion.

This has been the case since shortly after Tor was created.

This is to make him sound more reasonable/believable when he claims the election was rigged. He’s already said that when he wins, Americans will never have to vote again. So in his mind, he wins this election, and then never holds another one while alive.
