I can hear the music from that scene in my head. Best cold open to any Star Trek series.

I just realized that it might be from Caretaker.

Everyone knows that Janeway had two hair styles. Up in a bun for the first few seasons, then cut short into a bob for the rest of the series.

But she actually had a different, more complicated hairstyle before voyager was sent to the Delta Quadrant. Something I didn't notice until rewatching the whole series a few years back.

After the shockwave, her hair is all screwed up and they actually make it a point to show her walking down a corridor while quickly fixing her hair into the simple bun that she would keep for the early seasons.

I think this screen is from when her perfectly-styled hair was still in disarray.

I could be wrong.

What episode is this from?

It looks like someone put her in the microwave.

"What does it say on the screen?"

"THERE IS NO SCREEN!!"

"Well if you can't tell me what the error code is, I can't help you."

Several years ago, before COVID, the Japanese government was on high alert because someone parked a drone on the roof of the Prime Minister's office. Small traces of (harmless) radiation were detected on the drone and no one knows who put it there or why.

"I'm going to beam a torpedo into a Borg cube."

Before that, M5 was one of the worst disasters in Starfleet history.

The Kelvin timeline did have its interpretation of this plot in the comics. It stuck pretty close to the TOS episode, but with better visuals and pacing. Basically what the episode would have been like if it were filmed today with a modern budget.

When they refit the Enterprise-E after fighting Shinzon, they gave the captain's chair a seatbelt.

It happens.
