Most of the smart people in the national media already realize that no matter how well this team plays, it’s not sustainable past this season. They have 4 max contracts on the books, and have to cut somewhere.

The problem is the tax and cap now. This team is not sustainable long term money wise.

Jimmy Butler in his first 4 regular seasons with the Miami Heat: 26.6% from 3 on 1.9 attempts per game. Butler in the first 10 games of this season: 47.8% from 3 on 2.3 attempts per game in c/nba@nba.space

Recent Bill Simmons/Russillo podcast has Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, and Alex Caruso as the top 3 perimeter defenders ! Very, Very surprised about this. All of them are under 6'4 in c/nba@nba.space
