Honestly imo their website is pretty straightforward about what connect does and doesn't include

Buy a 3rd party one online. Amazon has a lot.
Just make sure any case you choose has no magnets
Color is already offered... OP is just asking for more than just red or blue like we have now
... If you look again, this is a replacement collar to hold the tips in place, not a replacement tip.
Cool! The marker tip weakness is one of the dumbest, most expensive flaws in any of the remarkable products. It's to the point where they'll pretty much just send you a new marker, warranted or not since it's such a big issue- but this is a great solution!
I had warpage near the edges when I had a 3rd party magnetic case. All warping went away a few days after I surgically removed the magnets
Compared to an iPad? Compared to a device where they make each version obsolete on purpose in order to sell the next new device?
Remarkable is excellent with constantly improving the tablet. Id prefer they continue to release new excellent software improvements instead of moving on from the RM2 to release an RM3.
Exported PDFs are completely flattened
I feel this may happen on a hard pen drop
And for each pen you made sure that the nibs were replaced and fully seated (you have to push them in hard) before replacing?
Yeah if it happened for 3 pens it sounds like really bad luck or you drop/abuse them a lot.
Try a Staedtler, mine have lasted forever. The nibs and housing are really durable
Magnets touching the screen will definitely warp it, but I don't think magnets touching the back will be a problem. I'm not 100% on that though
Are you extremely careful about making sure that no magnets from other devices /cases touch the screen? If those spots are caused by magnets, they should clear up on their own after a few days with no magnets touching the screen.
Source: I bought a third party case that said it was for the remarkable but it had magnets in the cover. These caused warping like you're describing. After removing the case the spots mostly cleared up in a day or two
The connect subscription does very little... It's a simple tablet with limited functionality, with or without the subscription.
