It’s probably not possible at this point. If there was some kind of revolution, poor people could have access to healthcare, education, shelter, and food. You know, basic dignity and hope for a better future. But the problem is that hopeless wage slaves are better for capitalism.

Put some address numbers to the left and right of your plate. Map out the LPRs in your neighborhood, and post flyers about them so people see.

I just measured my showers. I was thinking it would be over 3 gpm but my downstairs is 2.6, and upstairs is 2.25. Pretty modest actually. My guess is that they’re designed for the national standard of 2.5 gpm without a restrictor. It just makes me so mad to squeeze simple pleasures from the poor through regulation. People are miserable enough for fucks sake, if they can afford a $0.50 shower let them enjoy 10 minutes of the day.

YouTube is pretty bad. If I’m watching a video at 1.5x, it remembers this setting for the next video, so the same courtesy should apply to the ads. Avoidable in a web browser for now, eventually I’ll just have to youtube-dl anything I want to watch.

I really hate that California dropped all new shower heads down to 1.8 gpm. I feel very alone in this outrage. People are flying around in private fucking jets, and you want us all to take one for the team and suffer a shitty dribble of a shower every day. A generous hot shower is one of the few things that makes our lives far better than our great great grandparents. Taking out the flow restrictor is like having sex without a condom. A whole generation of suckers won’t even know what they’re missing.

I hate ordering a beer in a restaurant and it comes in a shaker pint (conical pint), which is usually a 13 oz pour. How can we have a government who verifies the measurement of fuel pumps, but not beer, when beer costs like 15x more than fuel. Fill lines are a simple, cheap, and good solution.

I hate metering lights. For those who don’t know they’re stoplights on the on-ramp to an interstate highway. Waste of fuel, don’t help with traffic.

I really hate advertisements. It seems the more I block them, the more offensive they are when one gets through.

Arguably, somebody else being offended doesn’t affect you at all.

As somebody with a long-tenured zombie Democrat in my house seat, I disagree. Nobody else gets traction in primaries due to lack of funding. We have had plenty of opportunities to vote for somebody better (and younger). Nobody gives a shit.

When corporations steal from their employees by wage theft, they are penalized “double damages” or twice what they stole. Seems that would be reasonable to apply to this.

They should just look at how many times the pirates listened to each song, and base the fine on the prevailing streaming rate to artists. Then the damages will calculate to like $5. Or if you really want to make them hurt look at how long they had the files and charge them the streaming subscription rate for like 3 years, then they may owe hundreds of dollars.

Space Balls 2 and a new Batman/superhero parody. Nice.

Big ice cream figured out churning is a pain in the ass. So now they just whip it and freeze it in bulk. It’s not the same product at all.

My friend from high school, very smart, got a technical Bachelors degree and then became a circus performer. Figured it would be for a few years max but it’s been 15 and they’re still at it.

Before tractors, almost the entire food chain involved animal slavery, since farms used draft animals. For that matter, even transportation was based on animal slavery (horses). Many of the sustainable and high performance fabrics like wool, silk, and leather are now replaced by synthetic fossil-derived plastics. But petroleum is also an animal product.

To be vegan, is to choose fossilized animal products and services over fresh.
