An enclosed capsule just brings on another fear: fear of closed spaces. Too open and it's fear of open spaces.

If the body's natural temperature is about 98 degrees (F), why does it still feel really hot when the ambient temperature is 98F? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

Water at about that temperature does feel comfy since water does a great job at transfering heat.

Air is different since it doesn't transfer heat as well we prefer about 75F.

The same reason the military gets soldiers to fill sandbags and other soldiers to empty the same sandbags. Because the system only has to be good enough not to fail.
