For those remarking “we all do”, DuPont has a large PFAS plant in the Netherlands. It’s now called Chemours and is located in the Rotterdam area (Dordrecht / Moerdijk). There, and in their supply chain PFOA’s have leaked into the environment, including in Helmond.

I’ve never seen the appeal. A simple smb share and Kodi work perfectly fine no?

The Zune was at-best an adequate copy of the iPod lacking a click wheel and having an awkward user interface.

I don’t agree, they’re mostly fine (Luckin better than Cotti), but Starbucks flavor is stronger and more “dark roast”. Also, their Shanghai coffee roasters facility is in a league of its own!

Having said that. China’s economy is not doing well and consumers are looking to cut back on expenses. I guess Luckin is the “good enough” option?

There’s also a certain pendulum swinging effect. From the prude 1950s to the free love of the late ‘60s, the movies of the 1970s were a lot less prude than the 2000s are. It might take another generation growing up in this environment for them to rebel again and we’ll have another summer of love, somewhere in the 2050s
