Yes I’ve been there, very relatable, but my experience was getting “beamed up” at Star Trek The Experience at the LVH in Las Vegas back in 2006. I’ll never forget the feeling of suddenly being on the bridge.

Strange there’s no mention of crohns or colitis in this article. Both are monitored through calprotectin and you would expect a strong correlation between IBD and Alzheimer’s in this case

Better presence sensors exist, and are only used in such critical situations. These are based on radar and sense the chest movements of people.
