Leagues with 1 promotion spot are mostly regional leagues that promote into a national league. What are you going to do, relegate 12 teams each year from the league above?

And that good start involved the absolute miracle in the Elversberg game. We're in absolute dire straits but most of our fans are in absolute denial about it because we won a few games. This season is just about finding 3 clubs with less points.
