Hi Reddit watch community! I'm considering getting my first chronograph. I'm looking at options that don't have screw down pushers. From those of you that have this type of chronograph, do you ever accidentally engage the pushers? When your wrest flexes backwards? Am I over thinking this? Thank you.

I've been looking into a few FC models (Slimline Monolithic) recently and just came across this one ( FC-760NS4H6) which looks beautiful, and JomaShop has it for a great deal right now, which makes it even more attractive. Has anyone seen this in person? I've seen a few YT videos and they all look fantastic.

Would really love to hear from anyone who was deciding between these 2 models:

These are very similar watches (green dial). I love the Omega, but really want automatic, which it doesn't have. and the Tag is great, but is 45mm which is larger than I'm comfortable with. Everything else about both watches is fine with me, they both are fantastic, just wondering if anyone else has gone through this before. As of right now I'm leaning towards the Omega, and I would just deal with the fact that it's manual wind. Which I think I can live with, more so than living with the size of the Tag. Keep in minds that I've yet to see either of these in person yet. Thanks.

Wow, this took me by surprise. I have both the SARB033 and the SARB035 (only a few months), and I was looking into the technical specs for the 6R15 movement and saw that it has this. Really emphasizes how much I have yet to learn about watches.

I'm waiting on my first Chrono24 purchase, and I was prepared for the import fees based on the information provided on Chrono24 and from discussions here on Reddit. From what I had read here, it seemed hit or miss as to weather import fees would be imposed. Just curious from others that have experienced this and have purchased often from Chrono24, did you get these fees imposed every time? Or just sporadically? Not complaining, just curious. Thank you.

So, curious as to how many of you out there collect both watches to wear, and watches that will either get very little wrist time, or none at all, just to have in your collection. I’m relatively new to watches and slowly starting to build a collection. I’ve put together my list of watches I want to buy over the next year or so (probably longer) and I’m sure this will change frequently…. But some of these I know will get very little wrist time, if any, but I would very much like to have in my collection. For example:

Yes, the F.P. Journe is way out of my price range, but we can all dream. This in comparison to watches that will definitely get a lot of wrist time (Grand Seiko, Omega, Tag Heurer, Ball, etc….). As you can see most of these are what I would consider dress watches. Would love to hear from those of you who have at least thought about this, or those that actively do this. Thanks.

Typically for me with straps, I can never get the exact fit with the holes on a strap. I end up butchering the strap by drilling a new hole. I see there are a number of these leather hole punching tools on Amazon. Has anyone tried any of these? Thanks.

I'm new to the watch game and loving it so far. Meager collection of 5 right now, and nothing major, but oh my goodness, I really don't like changing straps. I am forcing myself to change them on my own so I get better at it, and I know I will, but its definitely no picnic. I have had to break down and take it to my local watch repair shop on one occasion that I just couldn't make it work. I will be seriously looking to get straps that have the quick release spring bars built in, but that definitely limits your options. I know some do have quick release built in, for example Tag Heuer Connected, but those seem to be few and far between. I'm sort of surprised that the industry hasn't adopted some sort of standard for this. Anyone else feel my pain here?

Relatively new to watches, but I’ve really become addicted to the culture. Almost every aspect of it intrigues me. The current SOTC is only 2 Tags, an Omega AT, and a Seiko. But I’m very curious if my own preferences are unusual, since there are a number of things I really don’t like in a watch. Based on what I’m seeing online (here and other online forums), my preferences seem to be pretty plain, which is fine. Just curious if there are others like me out there. Note, I’m not bashing anything here. Just not my particular taste. Here is my list:

· No bezels

· No gold

· No NATO bands

· No chronograph

· No complications (I can live with a date)

· No numerals for hour markers(neither Arabic nor Roman)

· No skeletons

· No bright colors

· No digital

· No quartz

· No Tanks

I’m not lacking for watches to pine over, but there are definitely a large number of what seem to be very popular watch types that really don’t appeal to me, again which is fine. Thanks
