If you didn't sample 4chan in that time you missed out on a lot of Internet culture. Not everyone posting on there was. It was really entertaining to watch the shitshow.

Do you think any indie developer has the means to achieve a lower cost to distribution and promotion if they try to sell and support the game themselves?

Valve solves many problems for developers and these problems aren't imaginary and free to resolve.

Not saying 30% is justified for all games, but if you want a quality title it's going to cost more than just development. Since the Unity debacle we've seen some developers even say openly that costs of promotion and support dwarf costs of development.

This is a good thing. People will need to find alternative sources for news. I don't see a problem.

Housing is unaffordable because investment properties are insufficiently taxed. This incentivises all the behaviour we're seeing. There are three classes of people in today's housing market. First is the people who don't own a home and have insufficient capital and income to afford one. The second is people who already purchased a home and have equity in their existing property to leverage against a new or additional home. The third is people who have parents or family helping them afford a home, this is basically the same as the second group, though.

Tax investment housing more. Affordability will fix itself.

If people haven't figured out how to mitigate rejection of implants to at least 99% they shouldn't even be attempting this kind of nonsense.

I remember reading last year that all the assistant services like Alexa and Siri and Google are costing these companies a fortune with almost zero return. It's not surprising they're looking for additional revenue streams.

Awww. I'm so sad for these billionaires.

Yes, they are used, but typically in specialized applications which is why you don't see them every day.

Again, you're wrong. It's easier to kill people with a gun than a bat or a knife. My point is that this case shouldn't be a situation calling for the castle doctrine (based on the text) because other avenues for dealing with the situation existed and were possible. In that case, I'd rather be charged with assault than murder.

You ever use a bat or knife to kill a person? Way harder than squeezing a trigger, friend.
