At least Lemmy has gotten a lot more stable in the past few weeks too
Install docker for windows containers and play around and see what you can get running? I ran pretty much all the same containers as I do on linux when I was using windows server. 1GB of RAM is going to be the big limiting factor.
+1 for Memmy, itβs very usable at this point and the dev pushes TestFlight builds with new features daily.
Iβm using lemmy with my cloudflare tunneled instance right now, no issues at all :)
Reddit will sure be a lovely site in a few monthsβ¦
Even more reason to just stay off Reddit for good.
If you use push notifications you have to give the developer your access token, that could be stolen if the push server is hacked
