I am wanting to make a server that can also play older games at 1080p. I was thinking of a lower powered 11th gen like 11400 for use with my 1060 6gb video card. No AAA newer than 2020

I have 5 hard drives and no dvd/cd rom.
LSI or equiv SAS controller is in the future when I run out of sata connections.

I would like to leave this computer in the closet and access this from other rooms like Living room and office.
What do i need to be able to access this without using a whole new computer? Is there anyway i can use just keyboard,video, mouse and have the OS be served on the server?
will this allow the Office terminal to run windows

I walk into office , turn on monitor, and then "login" Windows but I have no computer connected in this room but is in the closet
When in the living room, i would use keyboard and touch pad to select a movie but computer is in the closet.
