Recent versions of Android make it much more difficult for a background app to access the microphone. There will be a notification if any background app is using the mic or camera.

Sure it can, you just uninstall the entire OS and replace it with Linux.
Streaming sites are the source of the TV torrents until the season is over and the bluray is released.
AV1 is really only practical for content that has a high quality source like a bluray release. Most streaming sites aren't using AV1 yet, so anything from them would have to be transcoded. Transcoding a low bitrate source to another format will cause a loss in quality. It's not really worth it unless you want really small files to watch on your phone.
AV1 hardware acceleration is becoming fairly common, so I wouldn't be surprised if the streaming sites start switching to it soon.

Most graphics cards have massive air coolers that block other PCIe slots. I want more water cooled options since they are low profile. I just don't want to have to void the warranty on a brand new card to install a water block.
The SD card probably crapped out because someone didn't know how to make it read only.
What's even worse is that Apple is not fully erasing the phones that they refurbish.
The thing that I wish would go away is oversized graphics cards that take up 3 or more slots. There needs to be more options for liquid cooling that doesn't require modifying the card.
