Maybe number 4 or 5 then, but far better than not in the top 20 at all

Don't forget that this list contains individual models. Traditional car makers have many different models and therefore less sales per car.

If all the volkswagen cars based on the MEB platform would count as one model, it would probably be in the top 3.

The list of the most popular models is interesting. Not one of the "legacy car makers" is on the top 20 list:

I don't fully understand this question. Of course, EVs will get better each year. There is still a lot of potential with battery and electric engines.

But your car won't get worse when better cars are released. Buy a car that fits your needs for the forseeable future. You're not marrying your car, you can always sell it a few years later.

Interesting that only one in thirty EVs is a Tesla. I think this is the lowest EV share for Tesla I've ever seen.

Looks like a small release, but has some IMO pretty interesting changes, like

Allow users to view their own removed/deleted communities

and

Add backend check to enforce hierarchy of admins and mods

Although the official driving range has yet to be released, the electric SUV will be available in 49 and 61 kWh battery options.

Why did they go for battery sizes that were usual five years ago? 60/80 is the industry standard nowadays.

I would unterstand if they really tried to make a cheap EV.

This kind of spam is luckily pretty rare in europe, I get maybe one or two spam calls a year.

Probably not. It is still fun though

Prompt: three children, dressed in halloween costumes, walk along a hill. they're completely black, as a viewer we only see their silhouette against a vivid, redish and purple autumn sky.

I don't think the world needs more AI images about politicians.

I wonder if this explanation given in the article is true for France and other EU countries or some overly optimistic hope from desperate EV fans:

Despite the delivery debuts of the much anticipated Citroen e-C3, and Renault 5, the French BEV market is still significantly down in volume YoY, a deeply disappointing result. One suspects that manufacturers may already be starting to slow-pedal the delivery of BEV volumes for the remainder of 2024, in order to release those volumes in 2025, when EU regulations require tighter fleet average emissions to be met.

Of course, Waymo faces some likely competition from Tesla, which announced its self-driving Cybercab robotaxi at its We, Robot event. Tesla already offers a ride-hailing service for its Bay Area employees, but the company relies on safety drivers for now.

I might be wrong, but my impression is that Tesla is years behind Waymo as of now.

Hello fellow Linux gamers,

Is there a way to pause or suspend games and turn off the PC similar to how the Steam Deck handles it? Or is this functionality exclusive to the Steam Deck?

I'm using Arch btw, but feel free to share solutions for other distros as well.

I came across Nyrna, but it seems to only support X11 and not Wayland, according to the description.

Prompt: space station on the moon, lots of glass, colorful inside, grey outside, earth in background -- Bing Image Creator

Theme

With all the news about humans travelling into space for fun, I thought it would be time for a challenge about space.

Ready to unleash your creativity? Show us your vision of humanity’s future in space! Whether it’s futuristic space stations, colonized planets, or deep-space exploration, we want to see how YOU imagine humans conquering the stars.

Submit your best AI-generated artwork and be part of this exciting journey beyond Earth. I'm sure you can do a lot better than my space station on the moon ;)

Like previous entries, take your time! Some of you can be super fast (me included) and the early bird often catches the worm. So for this challenge I’m subtracting a point for anyone who posts within 24 hours. It's not ideal, and I know it's not something everybody likes, but we should settle that outside the contest I think.

Rules

  • Follow the community’s rules above all else

  • One comment and image per user

  • Embed image directly in the post (no external link)

  • Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged (we’re all here for fun and learning)

  • Posts that are tied will both get the points

  • The challenge runs for 7 days from now on

Reason for this meme is that some ubisoft titles are shipped with a broken version of ubisoft connect launcher. Installing these games is only possible by running the installer for the launcher again via protontricks.

This is the major release of Cemu 2.1 with a cumulative changelog which includes the changes from all 93 experimental releases since Cemu 2.0.

This release also is the first release of Cemu on Linux that is not marked as experimental.

The release was a few days ago, I didn't notice until today.
