i'm sorry do you think biden is president of israel or something?

she's right; her last bill was a bill criminalising trans people and she broke with trump because trump wasn't racist enough.

i'm saying they could easily use it as an excuse to eliminate customer service and refunds because game stores and game companies are generally shitty and anti consumer.

and that extension is called ublock origin

ben shapiro failed at being a hollywood nepo baby writer. like that's how terrible he is. he literally failed at the EASIEST thing to do.

david ellison's centrist is a lot different from actual centrist though

background; i had all my torrents seeding forever and i never set a limit mostly because when i set up qbittorrent i was new and never really went into options.

i want to be able to control and limit the bandwidth i use but is 50kb/s during the day/10kb/s at night unreasonable? i dont want to be rude or make it hard for people to get things but i also just don't want thinks to balloon out of control (before i just keep everything in seeding perpetually just because i never bothered to look).

am i being unreasonable with limits? i obviously dont want to download and just stop; i always want to at least share back to at least 1.

these are mostly public trackers btw

thanks <3

i was wondering if there was a decent pinterest/we heart it app for the fediverse? i love making aesthetic pinboards and it would be nice to do without being on pinterest (which i believe is facebook)

from what i've heard internet archive torrents are automatically generated but does it speed up downloads for others or is it just another alternative form of download? (i like more niche archived vhs things so often times the stuff i like isn't popular anyway). just curious, really. i also donate straight to internet archive because i think they're worth it but it was just a late night thought i had and was curious.

i'm wondering if there was a federated or activitypub based linktree alternative? i current use linktree obviously but i'm growing tired of his bloatedness and would love to support an open alternative.. mostly just since i have a collection of threadiverse accounts for different things and would love to have one place for them all :)

this may be a dumb question but i was reading some articles and trying to understand seeding and peers; i generally pull up a torrent and grab the actual files but uncheck the random txt files like the ones that say where it was downloaded from (just for personal preference to keep my directories clean). does that cause any problems for others? should i not be excluding them from downloading? i generally keep torrents seeding when they're done but if i don't download those small files am i causing problems?

marge: how would you like it if 20 years from now people were laughing at things you did

bart: not likely. come on have a sense of humor about yourself

i absolutely hate how the modern web just fails to load if one has javascript turned off. i, as a user, should be able to switch off javascript and have the site work exactly as it does with javascript turned on. it's not a hard concept, people.

but you ask candidates to explain "graceful degradation" and they'll sit and look at you with a blank stare.
