Wirelessly pulling books from calibre and syncing the progress? I doubt my current kindle can do it.

True,you dont need daily connection to an ebook server. I'm using an old kindle but I wish i could sync my progress across multiple devices without amazon.

Try other search engines like duckdzckgo. I pretty much replaced google and I'm only using it here and there when the search results are not adequate
