At my school there was an office phone outside the office that anyone could use. No need to staff it.

If I vote Liberal I'd guarantee a conservative win in my riding...
Yup, I'm one of about 6 people who work in my office that used to have around 100 in 2020. They all still work here, just from home. Great for me, especially with the reduced headcount. But many of my coworkers also like WFH, and I'd be first in line to threaten to leave if there was a return to office mandate.
Not without a bunch of lawyers winning.
OS/2 was great in its time. I'd very much like to see it open sourced, even though IBM has repeatedly refused.
Slackware went from version 4 to 7 for a similar reason. But IIRC its reason was RedHat.
Boomer shooter and modern aren't mutuallg exclusive. I liked TB's classification: "Modern military shooter".
I taught my son in my father's Mustang instead of my (much) newer car. Yes traction control, but no shift indicator, no telling you what gear it thinks you should be in, no holding the brake on a hill, no automatic releasing of the parking brake, no lane keep assist and no backup camea.
Of course he consulted. He consulted with the bartender and some dudebros at the bar in Shelbrook.
There is a station in Saskatoon for sure. I'm sure many other places too.
