Not providing any indication that clicking/touching a UI element will trigger an action. Especially on a touch screen.

I have to assume that everything is a button that will do something stupid on every website now.

I recognised the art style! Was hoping someone would post more details.

I appreciated that it was acknowledged in Star Trek Beyond that Ambassador Spock had died.

That would require some self awareness.

TL;DR: you paying in now is funding paying out now.

Your contributions fund today's recipients. When you eventually become a recipient then the contributors of that day fund you.

This is the way of all superannuation funds around the world, they rely on the current generation of workers to fund the previous generations' retirement (or the current generations' disabled, etc.)

It's basically a pyramid scheme.

If one gets to claim that an entire generation beat the Nazis the one gets to claim the subsequent generation sucks.

They are terrified that the Trump admin will nuke the whole thing at any moment, and are trying to buy people time.

You're probably lucky enough to be in the jurisdiction of someone or some team that is actually empathetic.

Unfortunately, they'll be the first against the wall when the doge comes.

Good luck mon ami (from someone outside the US, looking in in horror).

A class of children playing classroom-united-nations would be slammed by their teacher for doing this as "unrealistic".

This never gets old.

Unfortunately this never gets old.

All our colloquialisms and such like are still rooted in the old units.

I suppose we might say "fuel economy" but only if we're trying to sound fancy.
