What have you been doing. Cause for me it's just install steam enable proton and install pretty much any game on my library. Or install lutris login to my accounts and play epic games / gog games. It literally just works

I would never recommend an apple computer unless it's for audio production. Getting one fixed is a nightmare

Last time I used unity full time was 3 years ago on an old hp, couldn't run gnome for some reason and I was very noo in Linux at the time so I installed Ubuntu 16 and upgraded it to 18. The aesthetic was very windows 7. It was alright but I prefer gnome
I think you can run a proot distro on dex
