Ooh, I might pick up some salmon for them, they'll like that. We do mackerel sometimes, too. And once or twice we've done just ground beef because I forgot to shop until 930 at night and dollar general sells it lol

My mom used to own a grooming shop, and sold jerky for dogs. Two of the groomers there preferred it over jerky for humans, and would routinely be found snacking on it. I've tried it, it's basically just jerky without the pepper. I like the pepper, so I prefer regular jerky. Lol.

We also make our own dog food, though, and it's basically rice veggies and turkey (sometimes chicken livers). Which is, honestly, something I would totally go to town on, if it were just seasoned a little better

Dog chocolates are so waxy it's crazy

I like to cut celery super thin and sautee it, which fixes the stringiness, cause the fibers are so short. Great flavor if you get enough of it in to taste it lol

They're really, really good. But don't make the mistake of eating parsnip tops! If you Google it some of the results say edible, some say poison. I err on the side of caution there. Lol. But carrot tops are 100% amazing, if you don't mind the stringiness.

Carrot tops/greens are so freaking good. I blend it into a pesto and put it on grilled cheese sandwiches. Fibrous as hell, like eating ground up rope, but OMG it's so good. Especially a little caramelized onion and some apple on there... I'm so hungry

Temperature was the first thing that really clicked for me, and the only one I never have to think about to translate, I just "know" what the temperature is both. I learned it by thinking of it as percentages. 0 is freezing, 0% of boiling. 100 is boiling, 100% of boiling. Lol. 30-40% of boiling is hot, and pretty good for a bath. Haha

It works pretty good, and you eventually you figure out which of your friends don't actually like you! Lmao

Yeah, it's sort of rare outside of, like, foodies and and YouTubers to use weight for cooking. We switched to it about a decade back, and it's been amazing. That's actually what got me to switch to metric for just about everything.

I'm American and that's how I've started giving my height. I'm 191.

Just start being that pedantic asshole that people hate, and insist on using it. When someone asks what the temperature is, give it to em in c and make them do the conversion.

I set all my stuff to metric years ago and use it pretty much exclusively. I don't actually make other people convert, I do it for em. But still.

Enterprise theme song is GOAT

I haven't been awake long and can't think of a specific scene with background music
