Given the tendency of these systems to randomly implode (as demonstrated) I'm unconvinced they're going to be a long-term threat.
Any company that desires to replace its employees with an AI is really just giving them an unpaid vacation. Not even a particularly long one if history is any judge.

It's not that we think that everyone on a .ml instance is a bad person it's just that if you don't watch your back you end up talking to a bunch of people who think that mass murder and war crimes and acceptable as long as their friends are the ones doing it. Yes. Their oil production is way down due to the destruction of a lot of their refineries so fuel supplies are running low. They are also unable to produce enough amination for their tanks. So their tanks won't go and can't fire, hard to call that winning.
That's not how agreements work. If it was, they would be pointless.
They're trying to go that route but there's a bunch of practical problems with that that they haven't considered.

The ICO has always been all bark and no trousers. The big websites are just cowards, if they all told them where to stick their stupid law the government would have no comeback.
Look at town to city, their characters are like four voxels wide and have plenty of character. You can go the AI route but I think the art would always end up just looking like it's AI, always just a little bit off. It all depends on the style of your game.
If you're going the photo realistic route you can still do it without AI, just use something like metahumans or one of the many equivalents.
I cannot work out why it's an elephant. Probably because that's just whatever the AI came up with and for some reason they just pick the first result
