it somehow never occured to me that the fixable issues where on github; thank you.
it spins to the right in most of the global north, so this fact is verified. lol
if only these people would talk to each other because they're a huge majority of the people out there.
i feel sorry for the people who believe that fuck-em-all money is achievable whenever i hear/read their testimonials of their future plans and i wish i could point them to something like this in the hopes of splashing them w reality.
if they're mostly global north originated; then you're likely getting your news using the same spins.

are there any simple/low-hanging-fruit that i can use to get my feet wet w rust?
it'll help a lot if you can describe the troubleshooting steps you've already taken so that we don't end up going over ground you've already covered.
in shoes, i would have started with lscpi and/or lshw to know what hardware the kernel is aware of and what software it decided to attached to them. lspci -nnk will show you the hardware and the software module it attached it each piece of hardware and from there you can determine whether or not the kernel recognized your touch input or your pen.
