Basically, look at what community this was posted in. This is less a warning to the average joe and more to the people that actively care about their privacy.

I've never really had an issue with sites not working properly with LibreWolf. As for explicit permission to do certain things, basically every browser does that. It's one button that pops up occasionally in the top left corner.
I made this post because people in this community are recommending Brave to other people in this community. People in this community generally are fine with messing around with settings to increase their privacy which is why I don't talk about out-of-the-box-experience.
Librewolf is completely user friendly out-of-the-box. You can touch no settings and get a pretty good experience.
Tor isn't really designed to be used for everyday use.

Containers are really just better any way, you probably just aren't used to them. (Not to say your points aren't valid) We always give up some convenience for privacy, and vice versa.
I've had basically zero issues with website compatibility using Firefox forks. As for my sources, they can easily be cross examined with other sources, I just didn't think it was necessary to link to five different sources per allegation.
Firefox has plenty of forks. You either trust Brave (and by extension Google) or you trust the people forking Firefox and Mozilla.

What addons are you using that are Chromium exclusive? Also, Ungoogled Chromium exists.
