No body said it's going to have the same level of security, but that still doesn't mean that should just give up on it, just put a small icon indicating this is a WhatsApp user.

Signal refusing to federate with WhatsApp, even though meta says they will still use the signal protocol is the most bone headed decision I have ever seen from them.

There no better chance to break the network effect than this.

As if there is any comparison, bing is miles better, especially in gpy-4 mode.

You can do that with docker too, not that it's flawless of course, networking is just awful. Same thing on Podman.

I agree, the VPN app is just awful, and now drive will take forever to arrive on Linux, probably with a half assed version too.

I don't know what they have multiple apps, just create one app for everything, mail and calender bridge and sync. A VPN makes sense to be separate, but that can be included too.

Though mail + Simplelogin + VPN(just using the wireguard config) is a killer combination, now with Pass being almost ready to use, proton Unlimited is a very good subscription.

Facebook gave traffic to links? In my experience Facebook is the worst platform for external content, almost no body sees the post.

I mean that's what a link aggregator is basically. HN and Lemmy are link aggregators.
