Just started watching tonight. I am only 2 episodes in to the first season.

Right away, noticed all of the audio quality was horrible. I checked on Google and confirmed: the voice sessions were done by the actors from home during lockdown using whatever tech they had on hand, even if it was only their phones. Not a deal breaker, though, just a curiosity. The acting performance, aside from their production flaws, are decent.

The show has been good, great actually up to this point. I have been watching a lot of forgettable TV lately and Pantheon has been a refreshing entry.

The account you're replying to was created an hour ago and that is the only comment in their history. Don't feed the trolls.

An older comment of mine with a few new things added:

Common Bettman L.

Dude really just said fuck it, I am gonna die of old age in 10 years anyway, fuck the future.

Now the NHL has banned pro LGBTQ messaging, there are animated digital board ads during play, ads on helmets, ads on jerseys, gambling commercials, commentators talking about betting odds, embedded commercials during play, and still no reasonable means of legally streaming NHL games. Not to mention the snail's pace of the ongoing Hockey Canada sexual assault investigation (seriously, are they hoping everyone is just going to forget about this?), the hypocritical RNG state of the Department of Player Safety, and the NHL's tiptoeing around concussions and CTE. All under Bettman's watch.

Gary needs to go.

likely crushed by the ocean

No, I think it was gently massaged by the ocean

On the one hand, yeah, that kinda discussion is gross and there are definitely bad actors playing both sides against each other just to make everyone angry.

On the other hand, it also really pisses me off when moderators come in with the heavy handed kid gloves and delete everything.

It's my favorite sport. Watching it die like this is killing me.

You could just tape a garden hose to your dick and run it down a pant leg. Man, I should patent this idea....

VLC has shown its age for like, the last 9 years now. There are a lot of minor inconveniences with the program that add up and have made me seek out better options. However, I haven't managed to completely get away from it since it still plays everything and mostly does what I want it to do.

The next best option I've found in the last year is KMPlayer. Lots of customization, mostly plays all files (AV1 stuff still crashes my KMP despite me having the codecs installed, whatever), and the video image doesn't artifact if you seek back and forth a lot like it does in VLC.

Edit: just realized which community I was in. There is a free Android version, though I have never used it. FWIW, I use KMP on desktop with strict firewall filters to block it from doing anything sus.

Yeah, been seeing this story on the news sites since yesterday. It's crazy.

There will be a made for TV movie about this in the near future. Drama, docu-drama, or documentary, place your bets now.
