As far as I know. When speed limit goes UP, the speed limit takes place as soon as the sign is visible. But, When the speed limit goes DOWN the limit is in place at the location of the sign and beyond

plenty of escaping Nazi officers fled...

This is a misattribution. Nazi officers were protected, transported, and given new lives by the US military and the Vatican working together.

What are you on about? Do you have any idea how much innovation there is under socialism? Just look at the USSR space program and the USSR medical program. The USSR innovated new medical techniques we still use today.

Cuba produced multiple COVID vaccines in the same timeline the USA did and they're under a 60-year international embargo and sanctions regime! China dominates nearly every single hi tech domain in the world, many domains it has all top 10 universities.

Capitalism innovations are new ways of rent seeking. Most of the innovations people actually want and need don't turn a profit. Think about how many billions of dollars are spent on anti-piracy research and development. Think about how many patents are bought in order to stop them from coming to market. Think about how many small startups are bought and killed to prevent competition.

Innovation thrives under the conditions of liberation. The incentives for innovating are inherent in the problem the innovation solves. There is literally no need for profit systems to incentivize innovation.

And what's the situation with non-Chinese phones? Given the Snowden revelations and our understanding of US military intelligence projects for the last 50+ years, I would say every phone is likely irredeemably compromised. Just look at what the US did with Siemens phones and literally every embassy in the world.

Yes. That's it. Yes, there can be some problems with formatting. The most common one, though, is fonts. Try it out and see how it goes.

Also, you can open it in Google Drive. But that's not privacy respecting

It can be fully end to end encrypted and still drop keyword-based metadata into the envelope. But also, I am pretty sure that the feds can access the keys if they need to. It's e2e encrypted, but that doesn't mean the key stays on your device.

You should stop using dictionaries to understand massively complex topics. Dictionaries are useful, but they are not authorities on how complex social systems work. Using dictionaries to support your argument in discussion like this signals you as unserious and unaware of your own unseriousness.

Mis/Miso is a prefix from Greek meaning hatred. Gyn is Greek for woman. So the word is literally hatred of women. Just like misanthropy is hatred of humans and misandry is hatred of men. However, one of these words also describes a massive social phenomenon that is structural and embedded in social systems including law, employment, art, literature, fashion, policing, war, advertising, incarceration, health care, politics, education, social norms, cultural traditions, etc. Want to guess which one of these 3 words that describes? Hint - the answer isn't in the dictionary.

You should read more. The use of misogynistic terminology, that is, referring to any woman as though they are an inhuman dog, is misogyny. When a women uses it to describe another woman, it's still misogyny. Cleanse yourself of the liberal fantasy that misogyny is only present in people who are fully bought in to anti-woman bigotry and hatred.

Are you saying women cannot replicate misogyny, especially against other women?
