For real. There's a significant number of downvotes on this article even. What the hell?

It's a protest about women reasserting autonomy over their own bodies. The majority of men in the US have voted for a regime that has shown it does not regard women's rights. It could be different from person to person but it's mainly to show the government that women won't just be passive when laws try to force women to just be a submissive baby maker.

Supportive men could do the same to maybe accellerate the cause until reasonable rights in the region are established for healthy childbirth and sex.

There are plenty of uses for it. There are also plenty of bad implementations that don't use it in a way that helps anyone.

We're going through an overhyped period currently but we'll see actual uses in a few years once the dust settles. About 10 years ago, a similar thing happened with AI vision and now everyone has filters they can use on cameras and face detection. We'll reach another plateau until the next tech hype comes about.

In a post-scarcity society, you wouldn't need money.

We could actually achieve that too. We'd just need to solve food logistics hurdles, homelessness, useless subsidies, bigotry, corruption, greed. Totally doable in our lifetime. /s

This is definitely the last time he holds office. He did little other than turncoat after he had a concussion.

He hasn't even tried redemption. Hell, he hasn't even begun to pay for his previous crimes and is looking to commit more crimes. Redemption is when people try to make things right. How can you say this is about giving second chances when all he's done is try the same shit the second time around. What a disappointment.

I'm actually surprised by both country's stats.

Welp, that was bound to happen eventually.

Too bad the solid version of this isn't as easy to implement. Burying algae using open growth pools are probably the best migration method I've heard of so far. Brilliant Planet seems to have an effective process.

I'm just stating what was in the article since most don't read it.

It looks like they flagged her because she missed multiple check up appointments prior to delivery too, which apparently is a common sign of drug abuse. It really just seems like she's overwhelmed time-wise and really doesn't need 5 children but that's her choice as long as they aren't harmed.

If you're just storing the password on the key then, no you can't get it unless you have the key. The main usage (arguably) for a yubikey is the FIDO2 auth method where you add those keys as MFA methods. That would allow access using either key.

[–] girsaysdoom@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It depends. Do you need MFA to access the password manager?

If not, then yes it reduces the effectiveness of having MFA on your accounts but they are still more secure than not having MFA at all.
