It seems like you're just trying to fit in with your peers.

Also, confusion has nothing to do with Magikarp. Magikarp uses splash.

I mean, it is faster

Lol, what? Do people really care about the 'speed' of their video player in 2025?

No, I'm not the one who is desperately trying to drag people into an internet debate.

Capitalists don't like to compete fairly.

Anyone who cares about american auto manufacturing shouldn't be taken seriously.

Americans make shit cars.

I think you're both right, but from a practical perspective it does little good to berate these people after they show remorse.

If things ever get 'painful' enough for me, you can believe I'm going to start channeling that pain towards the ruling class that put me in that position.

Good thing is they always have kids so we never have to worry about a shortage of targets.

There are dark days ahead. If history has shown us anything, it's that the ruling class only loses its power when workers bust out the guillotines.

How come they don't just use VLC?

Meh. Congresspeople always pretend to be upset about something to posture for their base.

Nvidia user here. The criticism of Nvidia support on Linux is always blown way out of proportion by AMD fanboys.

The only issue I ever have is needing to prepend prime-run to each application I want to launch with the dedicated GPU.

I've had significantly worse problems with AMD drivers, so much so that it really opened my eyes to how stable things were on the green team.

I'm not saying you should get one over the other, but you shouldn't let fanboys dictate your decision. They will try to do so without admitting they're fanboys, so we have admit it for them.

Seems like there's going to be a point where people are noticing the games they spent money on don't work as they should anymore because the servers get shut down.

How would you feel if most of the multiplayer games you spent money on suddenly stopped being multiplayer because the business decided it's not worthwhile for them to keep the servers running?

I'm talking about a new game but made with old graphics and mechanics similar to Megaman 9 & 10.

I personally think such a thing could sell gangbusters and honestly go on record as one of the greatest Pokemon games ever made, especially in recent years.
