Smart switches/cameras tap into the power directly and actuate the chime circuit via a separate control (or use batteries). The ring pro does this and there’s a little power box that gets wired in at the chime unit for that purpose.

I’m not sure how it actually does the controls, however. A short term capacitor to run the door end temporarily and cutting the circuit to release a relay, maybe?

I use mine for rice but it also gets used as a slow cooker and steamer (also, soft boiled eggs are super easy) when necessary

They did this back in 2022 as well, was nice

Oh I missed that, that’s amazing

Not sure if there’s still a price drop on the XTX but back when the 4080 supers were dropping I saw it getting discounted for a pretty good deal as well

The only real complaint I have with helldivers is the controls are a little muggy. They put out a polished product with good options that isn’t so paywalled as to be difficult to make progress with but still gives them a revenue stream to keep the live service, which actually adds value beyond “play the game”, running.

Now I’m imagining a bike made out of profile with all kinds of shit bolted to it and you end up with a pedal powered car

You don’t even need to spend 10k to get a carbon bike anymore, they start under 3k

Uniforms for me weren’t explicit but more “polo shirt and pants” so it was less a uniform and more a very strict dress code - this was also only in middle school so that kinda tracks with when kids can be some of the most vicious about it

The “correct nudge” has been determined to be “give a specific citizen a cheese danish.”

Isn’t there also a tree in London that owns itself?

Some algorithms might be able to be written as formulas but generally no. An algorithm is a repetition of steps to achieve a desired result and does not have a fixed way of representing itself because it could make different decisions along the way in different situations.

A sorting algorithm is not a formula, for example. Formulas are mathematical or logical expressions that can be evaluated.
